YES Essentials® is Safe for the Environment & Your Family
YES Essentials products are developed by Milliken & Company, a global textile and chemical company based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Milliken is a recognized leader for our commitment to the health, safety and well-being of our customers, our associates and the environment.
Because we have families just as you do, we have made sure that all the products used in the making of YES Essentials can be used around children and pets. Its components are found in many of our other consumer products including apparel, drinking water supply systems and medical wound care. It contains an antimicrobial that controls the growth of bacteria, mold, fungus and mildew thereby controlling odors or fabric deterioration caused by such growth. To our knowledge, our technologies contain no components that are generally known to cause allergies.
In terms of environmental stewardship, our goal is to minimize the impact of our products and manufacturing processes on the environment. Our YES Essentials® technology is manufactured and incorporated into our textiles with the use of precise manufacturing equipment engineered to minimize waste before, during and after processing. We have also conducted head-space analyses to verify that our product is not increasing VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions in confined spaces such as vehicles.
